ThunderCore Is Boosting the NFT Ecosystem
ThunderCore is excited to announce the founding of our NFT Creator Fund, which will benefit those who make Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) for a variety of DApps in our ecosystem. While a further announcement of the details is still pending, given this milestone, we thought it would be a good time to take stock of some of our leading NFT platforms.
Our blockchain is perfect for the minting, trading, and selling of NFTs, as we have over 400,000 monthly active users (MAU), and our groundbreaking PaLa consensus protocol allows for over 4,000 transactions per second (TPS). Meanwhile, we can boast confirmation times shorter than a second and gas costs at mere fractions of a cent.
Our focus on optimal decentralization, scalability, and security is exactly what NFT creators need to be able to thrive in the blockchain world and an increasingly competitive landscape. We have always been a strong supporter of NFTs, and that’s why over 10 million have been issued on ThunderCore.

We have long been encouraging a diverse portfolio of NFT platforms to take root in our ecosystem, as we feel strongly that NFTs are one of the absolute cornerstones of Web3. With our NFT Creator Fund, we hope to get even more sunlight into the garden we’ve been cultivating. Here are a few of the major platforms we’ve been thrilled to watch develop on our blockchain.
CaptureClub
CaptureClub is an NFT marketplace for photographers that is bringing licensing rights and profitability to a broad swathe of creators. Developed by Numbers Protocol, the system revolves around Captures, which are photos with the metadata and ownership preserved forever. They can be NFTs, or they can simply serve as a kind of record of who created the image — when and where. Each Capture has a certificate of authenticity that is stored on the blockchain, and the information can always be rediscovered regardless of where the image ultimately ends up.
The Capture App, which is the associated camera app, allows for photo-taking with the metadata creating the certificate of authenticity in an instant. After this, the information is safely on the blockchain, where you can rest assured its provenance is recorded.
Upon request, Captures can be turned into NFTs, adding an extra layer to the ownership of the digital asset. It is possible to own both the raw content and the NFT of a Capture. The NFTs can be viewed in the Capture Wallet and listed directly on the CaptureClub marketplace, and it’s easy to send and post the photos through in-app functionalities.
CaptureClub came about as a solution to help address the problems faced by photographers, whose work ends up on all corners of the internet without due attribution — let alone any form of payment. With CaptureClub, it’s always traceable and this really benefits the often exploited photography community.
OurSong
OurSong is a leading NFT platform, which was founded by 12-time Grammy Award-winner John Legend with help from the developers at Our Happy Company. OurSong empowers new NFT users, both creators and consumers, by making it cheaper, most user-friendly and a fun social experience.
The platform is making it much easier for people to get involved in NFTs, not requiring users to hold other crypto in their wallets before they are able to use the DApp. It only takes a few gestures on your mobile device to get going with OurSong.
When creators design their NFTs, which the platform calls “Vibes,” they can add much more than just the original content file. They chose this name to emphasize the multi-dimensional nature of the NFTs, which are much more than JPEGs and can include things like music, art, video, and more. It’s even possible to grant special access to augmented reality experiences as well as private chats and other features.
On top of this, creators can set up functions that give NFTs to their most loyal fans. Additionally, there are social networking features that help creators to build communities that allow them to further the goal of monetizing their creative work.

NFTmall
